Chuseok

Chuseok, originally known as Hangawi, is a major harvest festival and a three-day holiday in Korea celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar Korean calendar. As a celebration of the good harvest, Koreans visit their ancestral hometowns and share a feast of Korean traditional food.

I went to my uncle's house. We visited the tombs of our ancestors to trim plants and clean the area around the tomb and offer food, drink, and crops to them. I met my relatives and cousins. Actually, some people don't like big holidays like Chuseok. If you wonder the reasons just let me know because thats secret haha. Anyway, I had a lot of food so even now, I'm full.. I must be get weight.. ㅠㅠ.. but I enjoyed eating the food and I really appreciate it. Especially, Songpyeon is one of the major food on Chuseok. It's a sort of rice cake which is steamed upon pine needles. At night, I enjoyed the full moon. We usually wish on the full moon. I had my wishes. I prayed to the full moon for the realization of my wishes. "Please...
